Volunteer

Volunteers make an essential and valuable contribution to the life of residents at Bethsalem Care.  We are delighted to have a wonderful group of volunteers with a broad range of skills, interests and capabilities who give so willingly of their time and energy for the residents.

If you have an interest in giving something back to the community and enjoy being around people in a warm, caring and supportive environment we would love to hear from you.

We value our volunteers, so training and education is provided in some of the essential areas of safety, quality and food handling and it is also necessary for our volunteers to hold a current police clearance.  We can assist in that process and are able to provide this service at no cost for active volunteers at Bethsalem Care.

Many of our Leisure and Lifestyle programs are supported by  volunteers who are passionate about providing meaning activities and spiritual and emotional support.

We also welcome volunteers to support the work in the garden and maintenance areas, so if you have a passion for the outdoors or are useful with your hands we can find space for you in the team.
